Delete your account
You are always in control of your minmini account and the information in it. You can delete your account, and everything tied to it, yourself at any time, directly in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
This page shows exactly how to do it, what gets removed, and how to ask us to delete it for you if you can no longer sign in.
Get the minmini app
The delete control lives inside the app, on your account screen. If minmini is not installed on your phone, get it here first, then sign in with the account you want to delete.
Delete your account in the app
It takes about a minute. Follow these steps:
- Open the minmini app and make sure you are signed in with the account you want to delete.
- Tap the You tab in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen (the person icon, on the far right).
- Scroll down to the Privacy & data section.
- Tap Delete account.
- A confirmation dialog marked Irreversible appears. Type the word DELETE into the field to confirm.
- Tap Delete everything. Your account and your data are erased straight away, and you are signed out.
There is no undo. Once you confirm, your chart, your story, and everything you have saved are gone for good.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes your personal information from our systems. This includes:
- your account and sign-in details;
- your birth details, and the birth chart we built from them;
- your journal entries, intentions, and the questions you have asked;
- the people you have added for compatibility readings (Bonds);
- your palm reading results (your palm photo is never stored, so there is nothing to delete there); and
- your saved readings and your notification settings.
Related records held by us are removed automatically at the same time.
What we keep, and for how long
We keep a minimal record that a deletion took place, so we can show it was carried out. Where the law requires it, we may also keep limited information for longer, such as records relating to purchases.
Cancel your subscription separately
If you subscribed to minmini Gold, your subscription is billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by minmini. Deleting your account does not cancel that subscription, so please cancel it in your store account to stop further billing:
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Android: open Google Play, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Cannot sign in? Ask us to delete it
If you can no longer access the app or sign in, you can still ask us to erase your account and data. Email us at [email protected] from the email address linked to your account, and tell us you want your account deleted.
We may need to verify your identity first, to protect your account, and we will action your request within the time required by law.
Your privacy rights
Deleting your account is one of the rights you have over your information. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access it, correct it, receive a portable copy, or object to how we use it.
